Job description

Job Summary
A fully remote opportunity is available for an experienced Construction Litigation Analyst supporting complex construction defect and damage claims. This direct hire role is ideal for a detail-driven professional with a background in construction documentation, litigation support, paralegal work, contract administration, estimating, or project controls.
This is not a clerical or administrative position. The Construction Litigation Analyst plays a critical role in helping attorneys, experts, contractors, homeowners, and insurance-related parties understand complex case files, identify key facts, and develop case strategy. You will work with large electronic document sets, summarize legal and construction records, track case participants, and help build the factual foundation behind expert testimony and repair estimates.
This role offers a fully remote work environment, close collaboration with a small and experienced team, and the opportunity to contribute meaningful analytical work on sophisticated multi-party construction litigation matters. The ideal candidate will appreciate autonomy, clear communication, supportive leadership, and the ability to work independently while staying connected to a tight-knit team.
Key Responsibilities
- Triage incoming construction litigation case files and organize large electronic document sets ranging from hundreds to hundreds of thousands of documents.
- Identify missing documents such as bates stamped ranges, contracts, invoices, change orders, subcontractor agreements, and related construction records.
- Prepare and maintain case summary matrices that capture key facts, client scope of work, timelines, participants, and developing case issues.
- Build chronological event timelines with attention to defect origin, party involvement, project history, and client exposure.
- Track general contractors, subcontractors, architects, engineers, testifying experts, and other case participants while documenting each party’s role.
- Read, annotate, and summarize depositions and legal documents to identify issues related to construction claims and client exposure.
Compensation and Benefits
- Direct hire opportunity.
- Salary range: $70,000.00 to $100,000.00 per year.
- Fully remote work environment.
- Works closely with a Coordinator and Lead Expert.
- Uses Asana for task management and communication.
