The Digital Project Manager will serve as the strategic and operational leader for digital project delivery across our organization. This role oversees the transition from Azure DevOps (ADO) to Jira, governs digital project intake, and ensures project prioritization aligns with enterprise strategic objectives. The role will also contribute to Ignition development and ensure compliance with global trade requirements.
*Position is remote; however, if you live within a reasonable commute of the Cedar Rapids, IA Collins site, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role.
What You Will Do
  • Lead the transition from Azure DevOps (ADO) to Jira, including workspace design, workflow creation, repository linkage, and user adoption.
  • Serve as primary owner and administrator of the Jira environment, ensuring long-term sustainment and continuous improvement.
  • Manage digital project intake processes, validating business cases, deliverables, and resource availability.
  • Establish and manage prioritization frameworks for digital projects, providing timely updates to stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Build and maintain dashboards, roadmaps, and reporting artifacts that communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and outcomes.
  • Ensure adherence to Global Trade requirements, including responsibility for project CLARAs and related documentation.
  • Support Ignition development projects; prior experience with Ignition is preferred but training will be provided.
  • Apply SQL and Python expertise to validate datasets, review logic, or support analytics work within digital projects.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, DT, Product, and Business teams to deliver digital solutions aligned with enterprise standards.
  • Lead best practices in digital project management, DevOps workflows, and change management communication.
  • Mentor team members and strengthen digital project methodologies within the organization.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
