**THIS POSITION IS REMOTE WITHIN THE OKLAHOMA CITY AREA**
OVERVIEW
The Project Manager is responsible for the successful execution of foodservice equipment projects from contract award through project closeout. This role serves as the primary point of contact between Singer Equipment, owners, general contractors, consultants, manufacturers, subcontractors, and internal departments to ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contract requirements.
The Project Manager coordinates all phases of project execution including submittals, procurement, scheduling, installation coordination, issue resolution, customer communication, and project closeout.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Project Execution & Coordination
  • Assume ownership of projects upon contract award and manage all aspects of project execution through completion.
  • Serve as the primary GC contact throughout the life of the project.
  • Coordinate with general contractors, consultants, architects, engineers, manufacturers, installers, and internal departments.
  • Lead project coordination calls, and status update meetings.
  • Monitor project schedules and identify potential risks, delays, or conflicts.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation and tracking systems.

Submittal & Technical Management
  • Review contract documents, specifications, drawings, and project requirements.
  • Assemble, review, and submit equipment submittal packages for customer approval.
  • Coordinate revisions and responses to consultant and customer comments.
  • Work with design, estimating, purchasing, and manufacturing partners to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Review equipment layouts, utility requirements, and installation details for accuracy.

Procurement & Vendor Management
  • Coordinate equipment procurement activities with purchasing and manufacturers.
  • Follow production schedules, lead times, deliveries, and shipping logistics.
  • Resolve vendor-related issues that could impact project schedules or customer expectations.
  • Manage change orders and scope modifications throughout the project lifecycle.

Installation & Field Support
  • Coordinate installation schedules with contractors, field personnel, and customers.
  • Support field teams during installation and commissioning activities.
  • Address jobsite issues, equipment discrepancies, and scheduling conflicts.
  • Facilitate punch list completion and project closeout activities.

Financial & Administrative Responsibilities
  • Monitor project budgets, costs, and profitability.
  • Review project expenditures and identify potential cost impacts.
  • Assist with change order pricing and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate project records and correspondence.

Customer Relationship Management
  • Maintain strong working relationships with contractors, consultants, and manufacturers.
  • Communicate project status, issues, and resolutions in a professional and timely manner.
  • Represent Singer Equipment in project meetings and customer interactions.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 2 years project management experience; commercial construction or food service equipment experience preferable.
  • 2 years experience reading construction drawings and using AutoQuote 360
  • Experience managing multiple subcontractors and in-house personnel.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft office suite, online database management tools, Autoquotes, procore and other industry standard applications.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Must be pro-active and detail oriented.
  • Strong math skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Knowledge of basic business principles to managed project timelines and financial expenses.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with customers, contractors, consultants, manufacturers, and internal teams.
