Job description

Job title: Tax Accountant, Supervisor: Managing Director, Hours: 20 per week during tax season, 4 hours per week during off season, option of additional hours if interested in monthly reconciliations, Location: Remote work at home opportunity.

Join a highly respected Professional Services Firm that genuinely cares for its associates. This fun and fast paced position reports directly to our Managing Director. The tax division is relatively new, so you will help shape this division and position based on your prior experience. You will interact with Trenton clients and associates to provide tax accounting and tax services to our clients.

Major responsibilities include filing 1120, 1065, 990, 1040 tax forms. Our firm uses ProConnect to prepare and file taxes, but is flexible to consider other tools based on your prior experience. Most of our clients use QuickBooks, so knowledge of QuickBooks will be helpful.

Although experience is not required in other areas, the Managing Director may ask you to help or learn about these additional service areas: accounting reviews, cash management, forecasting, reporting, KPIs, and expense reduction opportunities.
