Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to understand each client’s mental health needs and challenges.
• Develop personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based, solution-oriented techniques aimed at achieving recovery goals.
• Provide therapeutic interventions that are specifically tailored to address the unique psychological and emotional needs of each client.
• Document assessments and treatment plans accurately and timely, ensuring adherence to all relevant regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be working with a diverse population of school-aged children and adolescents, addressing various mental health issues including anxiety, depression, behavior disorders, and emotional difficulties. By fostering a supportive therapeutic relationship, you will guide clients towards achieving their treatment goals and enhancing their overall well-being.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid LCSW license in the state of Virginia.
• A minimum of three years of clinical experience with a strong background in psychotherapy.
• Expertise in solution-focused therapeutic interventions and an understanding of various mental health methodologies.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment and contribute to group objectives.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a school-based mental health setting or working with young clients is highly preferred.
