Work Environment

This position operates within a remote work setting, providing flexibility and the ability to manage client appointments efficiently from anywhere. Although remote, you will actively collaborate with a dynamic multidisciplinary team and participate in regular virtual meetings to ensure cohesive care planning and treatment strategies. Our outpatient office in Johnson City serves as the central hub for administrative procedures and team engagements, making it easy to connect with colleagues and share insights with ease and convenience.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to understand clients' emotional, behavioral, and psychological needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with clients’ goals, incorporating evidence-based practices.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions in a supportive and empathetic environment, using appropriate therapeutic modalities.
• Document all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans accurately in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Collaborate with other health professionals within the organization to coordinate comprehensive care and support services.
• Provide crisis intervention and support when needed to ensure client safety and well-being.
• Actively engage in professional development opportunities, including attending workshops, webinars, and supervision sessions to enhance clinical skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele includes diverse individuals facing a range of mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and family-related challenges. As an LPC with Begin Your Journey, you will engage clients from various age groups, including children, adolescents, and adults, tailoring your approach to suit their unique needs and backgrounds. You will work to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere that promotes healing and connection.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Current and active licensure as an LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or PsyD in the state of Tennessee.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interaction with clients and team members.
• Proficiency in using computer applications, specifically Google Suite and Electronic Health Records (EHR) software.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of 2 years of experience in the mental health field is highly preferred, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse client populations. Experience in outpatient settings and familiarity with evidence-based therapies will be advantageous as you embark on this rewarding career path with us.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
