What We Do
The Senior Business Systems Analyst serves as the strategic liaison between Product Management, Engineering, Operations, Customer Support, and business stakeholders to translate business needs into well-defined business and functional requirements that enable scalable software solutions. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams to define requirements, analyze business processes, and drive continuous improvement throughout the product lifecycle. As a senior individual contributor, this position enables successful software product delivery through business analysis, requirements management, solution validation, and cross-functional collaboration.
What You'll Do
  • Partner with Product Management, Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Operations to support software product delivery through business analysis, requirements definition, and solution validation.
  • Facilitate Agile delivery by participating in backlog refinement, sprint planning, requirements clarification, and release readiness activities.
  • Analyze customer feedback, support trends, and enhancement requests to identify business needs and recommend product improvements.
  • Leverage operational and product metrics to support decision-making, identify trends, and recommend continuous improvements.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration across Product Management, Engineering, Quality Assurance, Customer Support, Operations, and business stakeholders.
  • Document and refine product requirements including user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, functional specifications, and business documentation to support software development.
  • Ensure business requirements remain traceable throughout the software development lifecycle, from analysis through implementation and release.
  • Support the software development lifecycle through requirements analysis, solution design, release planning, launch support, Early Life Support (ELS), and ongoing product enhancements.
  • Support solution validation by participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), validating completed functionality, and ensuring delivered solutions align with documented business requirements.

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field; equivalent work experience considered.
  • 5+ years supporting software delivery, product development, or business systems analysis.
  • Experience working within Agile software development teams.
  • Experience facilitating requirements workshops and stakeholder interviews.
  • Experience documenting and refining user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
  • Experience supporting software releases, production support, and post-release stabilization activities.

Technical Proficiency
  • Agile work management and backlog tools (Jira, Azure DevOps)
  • Knowledge management and collaboration platforms (Confluence)
  • Business process modeling and workflow documentation tools (Visio, Lucidchart)

Pay Range: $85,000.00 - $113,300.00 Annually
This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
