AWS Cloud Program Manager

Job Overview
Lead enterprise AWS cloud transformation and modernization programs, driving migration, infrastructure, security, DevOps, and operations initiatives. Partner with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver successful cloud outcomes through strong program governance, risk management, and execution excellence.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead AWS cloud transformation delivery across architecture, engineering, security, networking, migration, DevOps, and operations workstreams.
• Own integrated planning, milestones, RAID management, dependency tracking, governance cadence, and stakeholder communication.
• Coordinate across multiple programs and teams to remove blockers, align priorities, and maintain delivery momentum.
• Partner with cloud architects and engineering leads to ensure delivery aligns with AWS standards, security expectations, and business goals.
• Prepare executive status updates, steering committee materials, escalation summaries, and decisions required for program progress.
• Promote strong delivery discipline, documentation quality, operating model maturity, and continuous improvement.
Required Skills
• Technically savvy in AWS cloud concepts, architecture, migration, modernization, DevOps, security, and cloud operating models.
• Proven leadership of large enterprise cloud or infrastructure transformation programs with multiple workstreams.
• Strong executive stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, risk management, and issue-resolution skills.
• Experience with program governance, financial/resource tracking, Agile/Waterfall delivery, and enterprise reporting tools.
Qualifications / Certifications
• 15+ years of IT experience with 8+ years leading cloud, infrastructure, migration, or modernization programs.
• Healthcare, payer, regulated-industry, or large enterprise transformation experience preferred.
• Preferred certifications: AWS Solutions Architect - Professional, AWS DevOps Engineer - Professional, PMP, SAFe, AWS Cloud Practitioner

The annual salary for this position is between $119,000- $136,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and is subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
