• Provide direct clinical support to assigned clients experiencing symptoms of major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders, both virtually and within the community.

• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members to achieve common goals, leveraging diverse expertise in mental health care.

• Demonstrate respect and understanding for clients’ diverse backgrounds, belief systems, and individual needs during all interactions.

• Adhere to professional ethical guidelines and the organizational code of conduct while navigating the complex structures involving healthcare delivery.

• Utilize evidence-based practices to conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement integrated care approaches.

• Assist clients in identifying and accessing additional services, fostering an environment of empowerment and choice.

• Provide crisis intervention services as necessary, offering immediate support and assessment to clients in distress.

• Maintain a manageable caseload that includes individual, group, and family therapy, ensuring a tailored treatment approach for each client.

• Monitor clients’ progress closely, managing admission, ongoing care, and discharge plans to align with treatment goals.

• Complete necessary documentation, reports, and data submissions in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and agency committees aimed at enhancing service delivery and organizational performance.

This role primarily focuses on serving individuals from underrepresented and underserved communities in Garden Grove and surrounding areas. The clients might experience a range of challenges and mental health issues, requiring tailored support and understanding of cultural dynamics. As a compassionate social worker, your role will be critical in helping them navigate their experiences and empower them in their treatment journey.

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field is essential.

• A valid LCSW license in the state of California is required.

• Expertise in assessment, diagnosis, risk assessment, and crisis intervention techniques.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a particular emphasis on documentation accuracy.

• Demonstrated proficiency in organizational skills and planning, ensuring efficient management of client caseloads.

• At least 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, preferably with a focus on underserved populations.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly preferred to better serve our diverse client base.

The annual salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $85,000, dependent on experience and qualifications.
