This position is a remote role set within a community health clinic framework, allowing for flexibility and convenience for both counselors and clients. Our outpatient counseling setting is designed to foster a healthy work-life balance, with options for flexible scheduling that accommodate both the needs of our clients and the counselor's preferences. You will get to work closely with a supportive team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, ensuring a comprehensive approach to mental health care.

• Conduct initial assessments and detailed evaluations to identify clients' mental health needs and formulate appropriate treatment plans.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups, adapting treatments to fit the unique needs of each client.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, contributing insights and strategies to create cohesive plans for clients’ well-being.
• Maintain up-to-date clinical records compliant with ethical and legal standards while ensuring confidentiality and privacy.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by attending workshops and reviewing current research in mental health.

As an LPC at Gotham Enterprises, you will have the opportunity to work with diverse client populations facing various challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, and relationship issues. Your role will involve creating a safe and supportive atmosphere that facilitates healing, enabling clients to explore their thoughts and feelings and develop effective coping strategies.

• Master's or Doctoral Degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Current and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia.
• A minimum of 2 years of professional counseling experience, ideally within a clinical or community health setting.
• Strong understanding of the ethical guidelines and legal regulations pertaining to counseling practice.
• Excellent communication skills, with a strong ability to build rapport and trust with clients from varied backgrounds.
• Proficient in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and other relevant software pertinent to counseling practices.

• Specialized training or certification in trauma, substance abuse counseling, family therapy, or couples counseling is highly desirable.
• Experience working in a remote or telehealth capacity.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment with other healthcare professionals.
