AI SOLUTIONS MANAGER // EAGLE BROOK CHURCH

JOB OBJECTIVES

  •          Leads Eagle Brook Church’s artificial intelligence (AI) strategy, ensuring AI tools are adopted responsibly, effectively and in alignment with Eagle Brook Church’s mission, values and staff commitments
  •          Serves as the organization’s primary subject matter expert on AI, including the configuration, optimization and responsible use of AI tools
  •          Builds staff and organizational capability and maintains the governance structures that ensure AI use is trustworthy, safe and compliant
  •          Partners with cross-functional leaders to maximize the effective use of AI and automation across ministry areas to increase staff productivity, effectiveness, efficiency and value
  •          Reports to the Technology Director

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

 

  •          Develops and maintains Eagle Brook Church’s AI Use Policy, ensuring alignment with emerging tools, risks and best practices
  •          Evaluates standalone AI tools for organizational alignment, data security and practical value
  •          Oversees, configures and optimizes approved AI tools for Eagle Brook Church’s specific workflows and use cases, including maintaining an inventory of approved AI tools 
  • Establishes and enforces data protection, confidentiality and ethical guardrails for responsible and safe AI use, including guidance on sensitive data, intellectual property and human oversight
  •          Manages AI vendor relationships, including contract review, renewals and usage monitoring
  •          Designs and delivers AI training programs that build staff literacy, confidence and responsible usage across all skill levels
  •          Partners with cross-functional leaders to identify and implement AI, automation and machine learning solutions relevant to their workflows
  •          Analyzes business processes to map value streams, key work activities and handoffs, identifying inefficiencies and proposing AI- and automation-enabled solutions to streamline workflows and improve outcomes
  •          Creates practical guidance, prompt templates and self-service resources staff can use to work more effectively and safely with AI tools
  • Monitors organizational AI adoption and effectiveness, using qualitative and quantitative indicators to measure value, identify risks and guide continuous improvement
  •          Supports changemanagement efforts related to AI adoption, including communication and stakeholder alignment
  • Stays current with the rapidly evolving AI landscape and brings relevant insights and opportunities to the Technology team and Executive Leadership Team

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

 

  •         Monitors AI adoption across the organization and identifies opportunities to increase value or address misuse
  •         Serves as the escalation contact for technical support and troubleshooting for staff using AI tools
  •         Documents configurations, workflows, acceptable parameters and institutional knowledge related to AI systems
  •          Other duties as assigned

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications

  •          Follower of Jesus and aligns with Eagle Brook’s 9 core beliefs
  •         Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience in Information Technology, Management Information Systems or a related technical discipline
  •         Demonstrated hands-on experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or comparable platforms
  •         Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
  •          Strong organizational, prioritization, time management and functional leadership skills
  •         Strong attention to detail
  •          Ability to evaluate technology tools critically, assessing fit, security risk and practical ministry value
  •          Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and build strong working relationships
  •          Self-directed learner who stays current with a rapidly changing technology landscape

Preferred Qualifications

  •          Experience in training, change management, or technology adoption
  •          Experience with Microsoft 365 environment (Copilot, Power Automate, SharePoint)
  •          Background in nonprofit, ministry or church technology contexts
  •          Knowledge of AI ethics frameworks and data privacy considerations

  •          Starting Salary Range: $83,000 – $89,000

  •          Remote Eligible: may be eligible to work remotely 1 day per week
