• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments of new patients, facilitating the creation of tailored treatment plans based on individual needs and circumstances.

• Implement solution-based therapeutic interventions, closely monitoring progress and adjusting tactics to ensure optimal recovery paths.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring all documentation adheres to state regulations and internal standards.

• Collaborate actively with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including nurses, physicians, and addiction specialists, to provide integrated care that addresses both mental health and physical health challenges.

• Provide education and unwavering support to patients and their families, aiding them in understanding the recovery process and resources available to them.

• Stay informed about the latest research and developments in mental health practices, integrating new findings into therapeutic approaches to enhance care.

The LCSW/LSCSW will work primarily with individuals experiencing substance use disorders along with co-occurring mental health conditions. Our patient population is diverse, encompassing various backgrounds, ages, and challenges. You will use your counseling and therapeutic skills to engage with patients in a compassionate and effective manner, fostering a safe space for healing and growth.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• A valid LCSW or LSCSW license in the state of Kansas is mandatory.

• Proficiency in solution-based psychotherapy interventions, with an understanding of personalized treatment modalities.

• Exceptional communication skills, alongside problem-solving abilities, to navigate complex patient interactions effectively.

• Prior experience in a detoxification or rehabilitation setting is highly desirable, emphasizing the importance of a strong understanding of the patient journey through recovery.
