Department/Specialty: Total Quality Management

Schedule: Full time | 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

How you'll make an impact in this role
  • Streamline Case Management Operations: Coordinate end-to-end support for the case management workflow, serving as the central point of contact between admissions, staff, and payers.
  • Authorize & Document Ancillary Services: Secure and record authorizations for ancillary services, while systematically managing and documenting critical denial reporting.
  • Facilitate Referrals & Swift Discharges: Manage patient referrals based on preference, expediting discharges by securely transmitting target documentation to receiving facilities.
  • Optimize Payer & Staff Communication: Document all payer interactions and proactively communicate updates to case management staff to arrange seamless patient transfers.
What minimum qualifications you'll need

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
    • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
What additional requirements you'll need
  • Remote position with onsite work in Austin, TX area as responsibilities develop
  • Medical insurance prior authorization process and claim denial/AR experience strongly preferred
  • Knowledge and experience with obtaining and processing referrals and authorizations with payers
