Job description

The Opportunity

The Senior Product Manager, Patient Marketing will play a key role on the U.S. Marketing team, driving the execution and optimization of patient-focused initiatives for people with post-bariatric hypoglycemia (PBH) and their support networks across disease education and brand initiatives in connection with an anticipated product launch.

Reporting to the Associate Director, Patient Marketing, this individual will translate patient marketing strategies into actionable programs, content, and experiences for the PBH community. Working closely with cross-functional partners and agency teams, the Senior Product Manager will manage day-to-day execution across disease state education campaigns, patient education resources, community engagement initiatives, and launch readiness activities. The individual will leverage patient insights, stakeholder feedback, and performance analytics to continuously improve patient experiences and ensure initiatives are delivered efficiently, compliantly, and with measurable impact.

We anticipate hiring the Senior Product Manager, Patient Services in September 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Execute patient marketing and engagement plans for people with PBH and their support network, ensuring alignment with broader brand, market development, and commercial objectives.
  • Participate in the day-to-day planning, development, review and implementation of patient-facing initiatives, educational resources, and engagement programs in partnership with internal stakeholders and agency partners.
  • Translate strategic priorities into detailed project plans, timelines, deliverables, and executional success metrics.
  • Coordinate the development and deployment of patient-facing content across digital, print, social, email, and event-based channels.
  • Support the identification and engagement of PBH community members to help elevate authentic patient stories and perspectives.
  • Manage progress and execution of project timelines, deliverables, contracts, purchase orders, invoices, and status communications.
  • Identify opportunities to improve patient experiences through iterative enhancements informed by patient feedback, market research, and data analytics.
  • Partner closely with Medical Affairs, Advocacy, Market Access, Commercial Operations, Corporate Communications, Regulatory, Legal, Compliance, and other teams to ensure coordinated and compliant execution of initiatives.
  • Contribute to launch readiness efforts by executing patient activation, education, and support initiatives that enhance awareness and engagement.
  • Provide support on adjacent HCP and omni-channel marketing efforts, as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years of pharma or biotech experience, with at least 2 years focused on patient marketing.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders such as Medical Affairs, Advocacy, Market Access, Patient Services, Commercial Operations, Corporate Communications, etc.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex, cross-functional marketing programs in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and execution skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Thorough understanding of pharmaceutical promotional regulations and experience navigating Medical, Legal, and Regulatory (MLR) review processes.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to be warm, compassionate, and thoughtful with members of the PBH community.

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience in rare disease, endocrinology, pre-launch or product launch environments.
  • Expertise in developing successful patient engagement programs including ambassador programs and community-building initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Veeva Vault.
