We are seeking aTapered Insulation Designer / Estimatorto join our team remotely. The Tapered Designer / Estimator develops tapered insulation designs, calculates material requirements, and generates project quotes for commercial roofing systems. This role partners closely with sales teams, contractors, architects, and customers to support design, pricing, and successful project execution.

What you'll do:

  • Interpret architectural drawings and specifications
  • Design, estimate, and price tapered insulation systems
  • Collaborate with architects, general contractors, and roofing contractors on design and budget needs
  • Revise designs and proposals to help move projects forward
  • Create shop drawings for submittals and installation
  • Provide customer support including job start assistance and field verification as needed

What we are looking for:

Required

  • Associate's or Technical Degree in Drafting, Construction Technology, or equivalent experience
  • Ability to read and interpret blue prints
  • Strong math and analytical skills
  • Experience with CAD
  • Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills
  • Knowledge of roofing systems or building materials
