The successful candidate will work from a fully remote setting, allowing you to connect with clients through secure, HIPAA-compliant video conferencing tools. • Conduct remote counseling sessions with individuals, couples, and families to address their unique mental health needs.
• Utilize secure telehealth platforms to maintain the confidentiality and safety of client interactions.
• Perform comprehensive assessments to identify clients' mental health concerns and develop customized treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based interventions and therapeutic approaches tailored to clients' emotional and psychological challenges.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and develop strategies to ensure clients' safety and stability during high-risk situations.
• Document client progress, treatment plans, and session notes diligently to comply with all legal and ethical standards.
• Empower clients through education about mental health, coping mechanisms, and available resources.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate the most impactful care for clients, facilitating referrals as needed.
• Engage in continuous professional development and training to stay current with industry trends and best practices.

This role centers on providing mental health support to a diverse clientele, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Counselors will work directly with clients to create a safe, empathetic space where they can express themselves and work toward their personal growth and healing. The ability to adjust treatment approaches to meet the varying needs of clients from different backgrounds will be crucial in this role.

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Washington.
• A Bachelor's degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
• A minimum of two years of professional experience in mental health counseling.
• Previous experience in a remote or online counseling capacity is highly desirable.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to foster trust and rapport with clients.
• Comfortable using telehealth platforms and adapting to new technologies for remote counseling.
• A solid commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical counseling practices.
• Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a remote team environment.
• Willingness to adapt work hours as necessary to meet client needs, including some evening and weekend shifts.

• Experience in specialized populations, such as children, adolescents, or transitional-aged youth.
• Familiarity with specific therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, or solution-focused therapy.
• Prior experience in program development or community outreach within mental health services.
