Location: Remote - Concord, NH

Employment Type: Contingent Worker (Contract, W2)

Contract Length: 6 months (possible extension)

Compensation: $43/$47 per hour (based on experience)


Summary of the Role

Join a cross-functional analytics team to support hiring and workforce planning operations for a growing organization. As a Data Analyst, you will maintain and validate hiring and onboarding datasets across multiple systems, ensuring reliable, actionable data for reporting and decision-making. The ideal candidate thrives on hands-on data work, keeps a rigorous focus on data integrity, and enables robust analytics in a dynamic, high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enter and maintain complex workforce and hiring data within Smartsheet
  • Clean, validate, transform, and integrate large datasets from multiple sources
  • Develop and sustain advanced Excel forecasting models
  • Build and update executive-level dashboards and reporting visualizations in Power BI
  • Support operational analytics, workforce planning, and resource management initiatives
  • Generate timely tracking and reporting on hiring progress and onboarding status
  • Consolidate data to provide single-source reporting for cross-functional teams
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies or gaps in datasets
  • Document data definitions, workflows, and improvement opportunities
  • Ensure alignment of hiring data with onboarding activities and program transitions
Required Experience & Skills
  • 3+ years of experience working with large datasets in operations, analytics, or workforce planning environments
  • Strong data management, data entry, cleansing, and validation skills
  • Advanced Excel proficiency (including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, forecasting models)
  • Experience with Smartsheet and Power BI (or similar dashboard/reporting tools)
  • Ability to work with complex data from multiple sources and maintain data integrity
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (required)
  • Bachelor's with 5+ years relevant experience strongly preferred
  • Experience in HR data analytics, workforce planning, resource management, or operational analytics environments
