As part of a remote workforce, you will be equipped with the tools necessary to conduct virtual therapy sessions effectively. While our primary office is based in Huntington, our remote structure allows for flexibility and a healthy work-life balance. • Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate patients' psychological and emotional needs, leading to the creation of tailored treatment plans.
• Utilize various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to deliver impactful treatment to individuals, couples, and families.
• Facilitate psychoeducational support groups that address common mental health issues, promoting community and peer support among participants.
• Collaborate effectively with a multi-disciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive and holistic care for all patients.
• Provide crisis intervention services for individuals in mental health emergencies, demonstrating strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Educate patients on mental health conditions, treatment options, and relevant community resources to empower them in their recovery journey.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential patient records in accordance with legal and ethical standards while utilizing appropriate electronic health record systems.
• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in mental health therapy to continually enhance treatment approaches.

Our patient population encompasses individuals facing various mental health challenges, including adolescents and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse. • A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCSW-R, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster strong therapeutic relationships with clients.

• Previous experience in outpatient mental health counseling or therapy.
• Demonstrated success in using evidence-based treatment modalities effectively.
• Experience in group facilitation and psychoeducational programming.
