GENERAL PURPOSE:
The Production Manager is responsible for leading the planning, execution, and delivery of
creative production initiatives across photoshoots and multi-channel content campaigns. This role
oversees the full production lifecycle from concept feasibility and pre-production planning
through on-set execution and post-production wrap, ensuring alignment with creative vision,
brand standards, and business objectives. Serving as a key operational partner to Creative and
Marketing leadership, the Production Manager drives efficiency, scalability, and quality across
all productions. This role is accountable for overseeing large scale productions, budget
ownership, team leadership, and process optimization, ensuring that all productions are delivered
on time, on budget, and at the highest level of execution.
The base salary range for this role is $113,200 - $172,600. The base salary range is
dependent on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, qualifications, relevant
education, certifications, seniority, and location. The range listed is just one component of
the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards vary by position and
location.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Lead end-to-end execution of creative production projects, including photoshoots,
campaigns, and content initiatives, ensuring alignment with brand vision and business
timelines.
Oversee pre-production planning, including scheduling, location scouting, resource
allocation, and logistical coordination to enable seamless execution.
Manage on-set production activities, directing crews and vendors, resolving real-time
challenges, and ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and creative expectations.
Partner closely with Creative, Marketing, and cross-functional stakeholders to translate
concepts into actionable production plans and deliverables.
Source, negotiate, and manage external vendors and partners (e.g., photographers, stylists,
talent, production crews), ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and strong partnerships.
Own production budgets across projects, including forecasting, tracking, invoice
management, and reconciliation to ensure financial accountability and adherence to
targets.
Ensure all production documentation (contracts, COIs, talent releases, invoices) is
complete, accurate, and compliant with company standards.
Develop and maintain production calendars and schedules, aligning deliverables with key
campaign milestones and business priorities.
Lead, mentor, and provide direction to production team members (Producers,
Coordinators), including workload prioritization, delegation, and development.
Identify and implement process improvements and best practices to enhance production
efficiency, scalability, and consistency across projects.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
6 years of experience in production, creative operations, or film/media production
3 years of experience leading teams and/or managing production projects
Proven ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and budgets simultaneously in a
fast-paced environment
Strong understanding of end-to-end production processes, including pre-production, onset
execution, and post-production
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross functionally
and manage external partners
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with production tools and creative
platforms (e.g., Adobe Suite)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ADA:
Job requires ability to work in an office environment, primarily on a computer.
Requires sitting, standing, walking, hearing, talking on the telephone, attending in-person
meetings, typing, and working with paper/files, etc.
Consistent timeliness and regular attendance.
Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.
Travel: Willingness and ability to travel up to approximately 40%.
This role requires regular in-office presence, including to engage in in-person team interaction,
meetings and collaboration, client support, mentoring, coaching, and/or feedback. However, this
role can perform duties effectively using a combination of in-office and remote work. #LI-Hybrid
