Job description

Who We Are:
Vori Health is an award-winning, nationwide, virtual-first, musculoskeletal medical practice focused on evidence-based care that treats the whole person. Using a unique care model to help patients find the best path forward, Vori Health connects patients to a trained care team that includes a nonoperative musculoskeletal medicine physician and a physical therapist, incorporating a health coach, and registered dietitian into the care team as appropriate. We are on a mission to empower humanity to lead a healthier life.
The role of the Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician is to virtually deliver exceptional patient care to patients with both acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, without the use of opioids. We seek individuals with excellent clinical skills who embrace innovation in integrated care. There is a strong emphasis on evidence-based use of imaging and medications.
In a unique model, Physicians at Vori Health evaluate complex patients with a physical therapist and those who are lower complexity who are escalated to them after an initial assessment by a physical therapist. The Physicians at Vori Health supervise nurse practitioners and participate in weekly patient rounds to discuss challenging patients with a goal of optimizing patient outcomes.
Vori Health is particularly interested in candidates with experience evaluating and treating pelvic floor and pelvic health conditions within an evidence-based, multidisciplinary care model. This includes experience supporting patients with conditions such as pelvic pain, postpartum musculoskeletal concerns, urinary dysfunction, core instability, and other related conditions. Physicians with a passion for whole-person pelvic health care and collaborative treatment approaches are strongly encouraged to apply.
Who Will Be Successful In This Role:
At Vori, we are building and evolving the future of musculoskeletal care. We move quickly, challenge traditional healthcare models, and continuously improve how we serve patients.
Successful team members thrive in dynamic environments, embrace change, and approach challenges with a solutions-oriented mindset. We value clinicians who bring ideas forward, identify opportunities for improvement, and actively contribute to building a better patient and team experience.

We are looking for individuals who are adaptable, collaborative, accountable, and energized by the opportunity to help shape a growing organization while delivering exceptional patient care.
Our strongest team members:
  • Adapt quickly as priorities, processes, and patient needs evolve
  • Bring solutions, not just problems
  • Take ownership of the patient experience beyond the clinical encounter
  • Seek opportunities to improve workflows, programs, and outcomes
  • Collaborate effectively across clinical, operational, and technology teams
  • Balance clinical excellence with a deep commitment to patient engagement and retention

  • Demonstrated experience evaluating and treating musculoskeletal conditions in a non-operative setting.

  • Willingness to obtain multiple state licenses

  • Demonstrated competence and passion for digital care delivery or telehealth: Comfort evaluating and treating patients remotely utilizing a variety of digital tools to manage care

  • Outstanding written and spoken communication skills across various channels and groups and managing team conflict

  • Proven record of matching patient needs to treatment plans and proven record of implementing these plans safely and effectively

  • Ability to describe medical conditions in an understandable fashion

  • Experience administering a wide range of techniques delivered digitally

  • Strong sense of empathy, a compassionate outlook and the ability to motivate patients into pushing their limits in a responsible, safe way
