Senior Project Manager – Strategic Projects

Location: Flexible / Based in the U.S. with regular travel to project sites

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the execution of complex, large-scale LED deployments. This role is responsible for managing projects from design coordination through installation, commissioning, and final handover. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in the AV industry, particularly with large LED display systems, and will be comfortable coordinating across structural, electrical, mechanical, and media system disciplines.

This individual will work closely with internal engineering teams, integration partners, general contractors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest technical standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead large-scale strategic LED projects from pre-sales and proposal development through project kickoff, delivery, and final completion.
  • Coordinate across multiple internal and external technical disciplines including:
    • Structural mounting systems
    • Electrical power distribution
    • Mechanical integration
    • LED display systems
    • Media playback systems
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and risk mitigation plans.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between internal teams, external partners, and clients.
  • Coordinate closely with engineering, manufacturing, operations, logistics, and installation teams.
  • Track and manage project milestones, procurement schedules, and installation timelines.
  • Conduct regular project status meetings and provide clear reporting to leadership.
  • Support site coordination during installation and commissioning phases.
  • Manage documentation including project plans, schedules, change orders, and commissioning reports.
  • Travel to job sites as required to support project execution and stakeholder coordination.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of project management experience within the AV or display technology industry.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering complex, large-scale LED display deployments.
  • Strong understanding of multidisciplinary project environments including:
    • Structural systems
    • Electrical infrastructure
    • Mechanical integration
    • LED display technology
    • Media playback and control systems
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects.
  • Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel and project tracking tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively coordinate across cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to project sites, domestic and international up to 30%.
  • Must have a valid drivers license.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with large, complex LED installations.
  • Experience coordinating with general contractors and construction teams.
  • PMP certification or similar project management credential.
  • Experience with 3D model coordination (Revit) and 2D drafting programs (AutoCAD)
