The Role:
As the Manager of Talent Sourcing & Operations, you will lead Upstream's sourcing strategy while overseeing the systems, processes, technology, and data that power Talent Acquisition. You will manage a team of Talent Sourcers responsible for building high-quality candidate pipelines and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of candidate information across our CRM and ATS platforms.
As an operational leader within Talent Acquisition, you will partner with recruiting leaders to optimize talent technologies, streamline workflows, deliver actionable insights, and develop scalable sourcing strategies that enable hiring success across the organization. This role combines strategic leadership with operational excellence, driving pipeline health, recruiter effectiveness, data integrity, sourcing performance, and process efficiency. Your work will play a critical role in helping Upstream attract top talent, support organizational growth, and advance our mission of delivering high-quality care to the communities we serve.
What You'll Do:
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Talent Sourcers focused on building high-quality candidate pipelines for critical hiring needs.
  • Design and execute scalable sourcing strategies, establishing clear performance expectations and metrics to drive results.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement through coaching, training, knowledge sharing, and best-practice adoption.
  • Evaluate recruiting workflows and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, consistency, and scalability.
  • Develop, maintain, and drive adoption of Talent Acquisition standard operating procedures, documentation, and operational standards.
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities that improve recruiter productivity and candidate experience.
  • Leverage data and analytics to build dashboards and reporting on sourcing performance, pipeline health, funnel conversion, recruiter productivity, and hiring outcomes.
  • Monitor CRM campaign performance, source effectiveness, and talent market trends to optimize sourcing strategies.
  • Partner with Marketing to develop employer branding initiatives, talent communities, and CRM campaigns that attract top talent.
  • Build and maintain proactive talent pipelines for priority and hard-to-fill roles.
  • Oversee lead generation efforts across multiple channels, including CRM campaigns, events, referrals, and direct sourcing.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on ATS, CRM, and sourcing technologies, providing training and support to recruiters, sourcers, and hiring managers.
  • Create and maintain user guides, playbooks, and training resources that promote recruiting excellence and technology adoption.

Who You Are:
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in Talent Acquisition, Recruiting Operations, Sourcing, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience leading recruiting, sourcing, or talent acquisition teams.
  • Hands-on experience administering and optimizing an ATS and CRM, including workflows, reporting, and data management.
  • Experience managing recruiting data, ensuring data integrity, and producing recruiting analytics and dashboards.
  • Experience developing recruiting processes, SOPs, and scalable operational workflows.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, develop, and lead high-performing sourcing or recruiting teams.
  • Experience partnering cross-functionally with HR, IT, Marketing, and business leaders.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and project management skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and recruiting reporting tools.

Nice to Haves:
  • Experience supporting healthcare recruiting or other multi-site, high-volume organizations.
  • Experience with Greenhouse, iCIMS, or other enterprise ATS and CRM platforms.
  • Experience implementing recruiting technology, integrations, or automation initiatives.
  • Experience with sourcing platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, SeekOut, HireEZ, or similar tools.
  • Experience building talent communities, CRM campaigns, and proactive sourcing strategies.
  • Experience leading organizational change, system implementations, or process improvement initiatives.
  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional certification such as SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP, PHR/SPHR, AIRS, or Certified Internet Recruiter (CIR).

Salary Range: $95,000 - $120,000/year
