Work EnvironmentThis role is primarily based in a remote outpatient office where therapeutic sessions are conducted virtually. Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to determine clients' history with substance use, underlying mental health conditions, and specific treatment needs.
- Collaborate with clients to develop tailored treatment plans that address both addiction challenges and concurrent mental health concerns.
- Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions incorporating evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI), fostering engagement and awareness.
- Coordinate with a diverse treatment team, including physicians and case managers, to provide integrated, comprehensive care for each client, ensuring all aspects of their well-being are addressed.
- Educate clients' families regarding substance use disorders and recovery processes, promoting healthy communication and involvement throughout the treatment journey.
- Maintain meticulous and confidential therapy records in alignment with state regulations and ethical guidelines, ensuring that all client interactions are documented accurately.

Qualifications- A valid and current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
- A master's degree or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrable knowledge of addiction counseling and substance abuse treatment methodologies.
- Familiarity with evidence-based practices relevant to substance use and mental health, displaying an understanding of their practical applications in therapy.
- A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in mental health counseling, particularly within addiction treatment settings.
- Experience delivering trauma-informed care and using motivational interviewing techniques will be highly beneficial.
- Previous work within multidisciplinary teams to facilitate holistic patient care.
