As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of couples and families, tailoring treatment plans to meet individual needs.
• Providing therapeutic services in both group and individual settings while maintaining a respectful and trusting relationship with clients.
• Specializing in various areas including but not limited to: alcohol abuse, physical and psychological trauma, grief and loss, family conflicts, and adjustment issues related to separation and divorce.
• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to facilitate healing and improve communication among family members.
• Documenting client progress and treatment outcomes meticulously, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements as well as organizational policies.
• Participating in regular team meetings to share insights and enhance therapeutic approaches, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.

The ideal therapist will work with a diverse client population, including children, adolescents, and adults. Our clients come from various backgrounds and often present complex life challenges, including but not limited to:

• Family conflict resolution
• Coping strategies for adjustment to life transitions
• Support for blended family dynamics and remarriage challenges

This role plays a vital part in helping clients improve their relational skills and emotional understanding, directly impacting their overall quality of life.

The following qualifications are required to apply for this position:

• Current and valid license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) within the state of Texas.
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

While newly licensed candidates are encouraged to apply, preference will be given to applicants with the following background:

• Experience working within a community health clinic or similar environment.
• Proven ability to manage a caseload efficiently, often exceeding 30 hours per week.
• Skills in providing telehealth services to enhance patient care accessibility.
