Our mission is to enhance emotional well-being through accessible, technology-driven therapy. As a key member of our team, you will provide compassionate mental health care to clients while enjoying the flexibility and convenience of a remote work setting. A competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 per year reflects our commitment to attracting and retaining top talent in the mental health field.

About the Organization

On Point Physical Therapy is a fully online clinic that is revolutionizing the mental health care landscape. We prioritize patient-centered care, aiming to reduce costs, improve service quality, and broaden access to mental health resources. Our dedicated team works together to deliver outstanding therapy services utilizing state-of-the-art technology. By harnessing the power of digital platforms, we are redefining therapy delivery and making emotional health resources readily available for all.

Work Environment

This is a remote position, allowing you to conduct therapy sessions via secure video chat from the comfort of your home or virtually anywhere you choose. Our telehealth facility eliminates the need for commuting, allowing for a flexible work-life balance. You will be supported by a collaborative team of professionals who share your passion for making a difference in people's lives.

Key Responsibilities

As a Mental Health Therapist at On Point Physical Therapy, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting thorough assessments of clients seeking psychotherapy services and developing personalized treatment plans based on clinical best practices.
  • Delivering high-quality virtual therapy sessions focused on evidence-based practices, primarily utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
  • Monitoring and documenting client progress, ensuring adherence to treatment goals, and adjusting interventions as necessary.
  • Collaboratively working with our support staff who manage patient scheduling, billing, and marketing, allowing you to focus on providing exceptional care.
  • Engaging in ongoing consultation with peers to share insights, approaches, and methods to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with adult clients facing various mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, stress-related disorders, and low self-esteem, who are seeking support and guidance through therapeutic interventions. Your approach will focus on fostering a safe and nurturing environment, ensuring that each client feels heard, validated, and empowered in their journey to emotional wellness.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or psychology from a regionally accredited institution.
  • An active license in Texas as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • A minimum of two years of demonstrated experience providing clinical psychotherapy to adults, showcasing the ability to manage diverse cases effectively.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills, essential for maintaining accurate client records and facilitating productive therapeutic relationships.
  • A clean disciplinary record with no pending actions or investigations by any licensing board.
Preferred Experience

While the following experience is not required, it will enhance your fit for this position:

  • Training in additional therapeutic modalities beyond CBT, such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
  • Experience working with specific populations such as veterans, LGBTQ+, or those with trauma histories.
  • Familiarity with telehealth platforms and best practices for remote therapy.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary between $80,000 and $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, our comprehensive benefits package includes:

  • Health insurance with dental and vision coverage
  • Retirement savings plans with employer matching
  • Generous paid time off for vacation and sick leave
  • Paid no-shows and late cancellations
  • A sign-on bonus of up to $1,000 to support your transition into our team

At On Point Physical Therapy, we believe in cultivating our employees' professional development. You'll have access to ongoing training, peer mentorship, and growth opportunities within the organization. We encourage you to take your career to the next level and further specialize in your area of interest.
