Project Scope: We are seeking an experienced EMR Integration Healthcare Consultant to support healthcare IT systems, including Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR), Laboratory Information Systems, PACS, and Pharmacy systems. This role involves implementation, integration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of healthcare applications and related interfaces to ensure seamless clinical and operational workflows.

Key Responsibilities: Support implementation activities including build, testing, and go-live of healthcare systems (EHR, Lab, PACS, Pharmacy) Maintain healthcare IT infrastructure including applications, databases, templates, and reporting tools Troubleshoot and resolve EMR-related issues, including triage, escalation, and root cause analysis Support system integrations and ensure smooth data flow across healthcare platforms Develop and generate reports for business and clinical users Document current workflows and processes for medical and mental healthcare providers Collaborate with vendors, clinical teams, and technical stakeholders for system enhancements and support Required Skills & Experience: 7+ years of experience working with Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems (preferably NextGen) 7+ years of experience with Mirth Connect (Lab Systems / Integration Engine) 7+ Years of Experience EMR Integration Strong experience in troubleshooting, system support, and healthcare IT environments Experience working directly for a State Government Agency 7+ Years of Experience with Interoperability and Data Transfer Preferred Skills: Experience with HL7 messaging standards Experience with FHIR Strong background in EMR integration and interoperability NextGen Connect Certification EHR Certification Practice Management Certification Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Health Administration, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
