• Deliver individualized mental health counseling via secure video chat platforms to stable and low-acuity adult clients.
• Implement solution-focused therapeutic modalities to guide clients towards achieving their personal goals.
• Develop tailored treatment plans based on initial assessments, regularly reviewing and updating them to reflect clients’ progress.
• Facilitate insightful discussions helping clients explore their relationships, emotions, and thought processes, fostering self-awareness and reflection.
• Monitor client progress throughout the treatment journey, equipping them with effective coping strategies to handle challenges and stressors.

Your primary focus will be on working with stable and low-acuity adults who are navigating challenges such as anxiety, stress, and adjustments to their life circumstances. Given the rise in mental health concerns tied to recent global events, your expertise will be vital in providing compassionate and effective support through teletherapy.

• Master’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related mental health field.
• Valid licensure as a mental health therapist (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW) is required, with ongoing eligibility to practice in the state of California.
• Demonstrated experience in remote therapy practices or a strong willingness to adapt to teletherapy methodologies.
• Exceptional communication skills to build rapport and trust with clients in a virtual environment.
• Commitment to cultural competence, ensuring inclusive care tailored to the needs of clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Prior experience working in community health settings or directly with adult populations dealing with low-acuity psychological conditions.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and digital counseling tools that enhance client engagement.
• Previous training or certification in evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as CBT or DBT, is beneficial but not mandatory.

This position offers an attractive salary range of $115,000 to $130,000 per year, commensurate with your level of experience and case load. In addition, you will enjoy the following benefits:
