Mass General Brigham International Patient Services (IPS) represents a systemwide initiative to provide leading clinical care to patients from around the country and around the world. This business initiative combines a broad set of existing capabilities, with a new focus on patient access. As a project coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring virtual access to our international patients and supporting the overall operations in patient services, while fostering meaningful partnerships within our healthcare system and the medical community across the globe.
Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study required
  • Equivalent experience may be accepted in lieu of degree
  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred

Experience
  • 1+ years of project management or project support experience required.
  • 3+ years in a similar role in a healthcare or international setting preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to prioritize, delegate, and manage multiple projects and responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Basic financial/accounting skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Assists in the identification and documentation of project's purpose, goals, objectives and metrics of success
  • Assists in the identification of deliverables and the development of a work breakdown structure
  • Supports the development of a project schedule and adjusts throughout project lifecycle
  • Consistently completes project tasks and meets deadlines with moderate direction; adds checks and balances to work to improve efficiency
  • Demonstrated ability to remain flexible and agile with changing or competing priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate by asking questions and providing insight during team discussions / meetings.
  • Implements communication plan; drafts project-related communications and incorporates feedback and edits into final drafts. Distributes as instructed; Proposes updates to the communication plan throughout project lifecycle
  • Communicates the status and completion of project assignments; seeks input to ensure tasks are completely correctly.
  • Demonstrated understanding of risk management; ability to identify and document risks.
  • Exhibits professionalism and a customer service-based attitude toward SMEs, project stakeholders, and colleagues.
  • Triages client requests, escalating to project team or leadership as necessary; identifies scope creep.
  • May perform other duties as needed including special assignments and projects
