Job description

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A remote opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide school-based services on a part-time (0.5 FTE) contract basis throughout the full school year. This position supports approximately 30 students and offers the flexibility of working from home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language services aligned with student IEPs, including direct therapy and consultative support.
  • Conduct initial and reevaluation assessments, preparing detailed evaluation reports.
  • Develop, write, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to address student needs.
  • Monitor student progress carefully, maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Participate in IEP, eligibility, and school team meetings to collaborate on student goals.
  • Collaborate with educators, special education staff, families, and other service providers.
  • Supervise and provide clinical guidance to a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
  • Ensure compliance with state licensure and special education regulations.
  • Maintain effective communication with the school team and clinical support staff.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred or required as applicable.
  • Experience conducting school-based evaluations and developing IEPs preferred.
  • Experience supervising an SLPA is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a virtual setting.
