Job description

We areย seekingย a proactive and experiencedย Recruiting & HR Coordinatorย to join our growing team in Kenner, Louisiana. This role combines full-cycle recruitingย with HR operations and administrative support.ย The ideal candidate excels at sourcing and hiring top talent while also providing reliable day-to-day HR coordination across theย entireย employee lifecycle. This role will partner closely withย HR leadership,ย hiring managers, employees, and Finance to ensure an exceptional candidate and employee experience.ย ย 

Key Responsibilitiesย 

Talent Acquisition & Recruitingย 

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process from requisition approval through offer acceptance and onboarding.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, define recruitment strategies, and ensure timely hiring.
  • Source candidates through multiple channels, including job boards, social media, networking, referrals, and direct outreach. Screen, interview, and assess candidates against role requirements, technical skills, and cultural fit.
  • Coordinate interviews, manage candidate communication, and deliver an outstanding candidate experience.
  • Extend offers in partnership with HR Leadership and hiring managers.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
  • Attend recruitment, networking, and employer branding events to promote the company as an employer of choice.
  • Maintain ATS records, recruitment metrics, and continuously improve hiring processes.

HR Operations

  • Support employees throughout the entire employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, employment documentation, and HR administration.
  • Maintain employee records and HR systems, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities, including background checks, I-9/E-Verify, training, and system access.
  • Partner with Finance to support payroll administration and employee data accuracy.
  • Track attendance, PTO, leave requests, and employee records.
  • Assist with benefits administration, employee communications, and HR documentation.

Employee Support & Compliance

  • Respond to employee and candidate inquiries with professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Support performance review processes, policy administration, and HR initiatives.
  • Assist with leave administration, workers' compensation, disability cases, and related documentation.
  • Participate in employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary meetings, and terminations.
  • Help ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and HR best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experienceย ย 
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of progressively responsible experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, HR coordination, HR operations, or a combination of bothย ย 
  • Demonstrated experience managing full-cycle recruitment processes across multiple position types and levelsย ย 
  • Working knowledge of U.S. employment practices, HR administration, and applicable federal, state, and local employment lawsย ย 
  • Experience supporting onboarding, employee records management, and HR systems administrationย ย 
  • Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and communication skillsย ย 
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentย ย 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesย ย 
  • Proficiencyย with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Wordย ย 

Preferredย 

  • Experience with BambooHR, ADP Workforce Now, or similar HRIS, payroll, and applicant tracking systemsย ย
