Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and, when necessary, diagnoses utilizing tools such as the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, to develop tailored treatment plans that incorporate cultural considerations and address the needs of diverse patient populations.
• Maintain ongoing evaluation of patient progress, implementing interventions and therapeutic strategies that adjust to their evolving mental health needs.
• Document and uphold comprehensive treatment records accurately and punctually, using current technology to ensure compliance with all regulatory and procedural requirements.
• Collaborate closely with patients and their families to create and revise a holistic treatment plan that articulates desired outcomes and a supportive care pathway.
• Facilitate effective referrals and act as a liaison between patients and other treatment providers, ensuring seamless transitions and continuity of care.
• Provide mentorship and supervision to students, interns, and volunteers, fostering their professional development in mental health care practices.
• Participate in clinical peer reviews, auditing, and coaching initiatives under the guidance of your clinical supervisor to enhance team collaboration and patient outcomes.

As an LCSW, you will address the emotional, psychological, and social challenges faced by patients navigating their health journeys. Qualifications

• A master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current and active State License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• Familiarity with managing diverse patient populations and cultural sensitivities related to mental health.

Compensation and Benefits
