Job description

Position Overview

Sales Support provides administrative and sales support for Territory Managers/Account Manager/Outside Sales and customers. This position provides internal support for sales by coordinating across multiple departments, including marketing, finance, customer service, and operations departments. Tasks include customer quoting, customer relationship management and customer satisfaction.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with assigned Sales team to provide administrative assistance to generate sales and support the needs of customers prior to, during and post sale. This includes but is not limited to preparing quotations, gathering customer credit applications, bid packages, vendor submissions and other sales related documentation.
  • Proactively call customers to follow up on quotations, providing outbound phone coverage during sales team absences and resolving open issues.
  • Contacting customers by phone to answer queries and obtain required information to facilitate sale or refrigerant buyback.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, inquiries, and quotations in the CRM system.
  • Coordinate sales responses to customer bid requests, in conjunction with sales account/territory managers, sales leadership and legal team
  • Assists in the resolution of day-to-day inquiries from sales team.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and direct as needed.

  • 3+ years sales support experience and an understanding of sales process and customer services practices
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • CRM experience required; Microsoft D365 Customer Experience (CRM) preferred.
