• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' emotional health, identifying specific needs, issues, and treatment goals through interviews and clinical evaluation.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that are grounded in evidence-based practices and tailored to the needs of each client.
• Provide individual therapy sessions for clients across various age groups, employing a range of therapeutic modalities to address issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and trauma.
• Offer couples therapy sessions that foster improved communication and conflict resolution skills, helping partners reconnect and strengthen their relationships.
• Maintain meticulous records of client interactions, progress notes, treatment plans, and evaluations, adhering to legal and ethical standards of confidentiality.
• Effectively document and review treatment plans to reflect each client's progress, adjusting strategies as necessary to optimize treatment outcomes.
• Engage in crisis intervention services, providing immediate support to clients experiencing acute distress and facilitating their access to further resources when needed.
• Stay abreast of ongoing research and developments in the field of marriage and family therapy, integrating new techniques and methodologies into practice.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, ensuring a team's approach to client care and promoting holistic well-being.
• Demonstrate advocacy for clients’ rights, guiding them in making informed decisions about their mental health journey.

In this role, you will work with a diverse client population ranging from teenagers to adults, including individuals coping with anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and trauma-related issues. Your empathetic approach will help create a trusting therapeutic alliance, facilitating personal growth and healing for clients from varied backgrounds. The remote setting allows accessibility, reaching clients in both urban and rural areas who may not have local mental health resources available.

• A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a closely related field.
• Current and valid licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist through the State Board.
• Strong proficiency in individual and couples therapy, demonstrated through prior clinical experience.
• Comfort working with both children and adults, with experience tailored toward their unique developmental needs.
• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Prior experience in an outpatient clinic setting preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a diverse caseload, with experience in crisis intervention a plus.
• Familiarity with various therapy modalities, enabling a flexible approach to client care.

The starting annual salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
