• Conduct thorough assessments of clients, identifying their unique strengths and challenges in order to create tailored treatment plans.
• Utilize solution-based therapeutic interventions to support clients in processing trauma, managing anxiety, and addressing depression.
• Maintain precise and confidential records, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and ethical standards.
• Engage in regular collaboration with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including physicians, psychologists, and addiction specialists, to optimize patient care.
• Remain updated on the latest research and developments in social work and substance recovery methodologies to continually enhance your practice.

In this role, you will primarily work with adults facing challenges related to substance use and mental health disorders. The detox center serves a diverse clientele, including individuals from various backgrounds who are seeking effective support and recovery solutions. Your role will involve crafting individualized strategies that cater to the unique circumstances of each client, fostering their resilience and promoting successful outcomes.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid LCSW license in the state of Virginia.
• Proven proficiency in communication and problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on empathy and understanding.

• Demonstrated experience in a clinical setting, particularly working with individuals suffering from addiction and related mental health issues.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and therapeutic models relevant to substance use treatment.
• Experience working in remote environments is a plus.
