What you'll do

As the Senior Software Engineer - Finance Technology, your role will be to architect, develop and build robust technology solutions that scale the Finance processes, and related systems. This involves close collaboration with teams across Business Transformation, Application Engineering, Application Product Management, Docusign Product, Data, and Integration teams.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director, Application Engineering - Finance.

Responsibility

  • Design, develop and build robust enterprise application solutions using modern full-stack technologies, and develop next-generation agentic solutions

  • Ensure application high availability and reliability by implementing robust error handling and alerting frameworks

  • Adhere to and enforce strict coding standards and best practices to ensure code quality and system security

  • Utilize and manage CI/CD pipelines for seamless, automated code deployments across various environments

  • Architect and implement seamless integrations using integration platforms like OIC within the Quote-to-Cash functional domain, leveraging data from Oracle Fusion and Salesforce to facilitate end-to-end subscription flows

  • Optimize API performance focusing on response time, reliability, scalability, and resource efficiency

  • Leverage AI tools, such as GitHub Co-Pilot, to actively manage and reduce code complexity, redundancies, and inefficiencies

  • Collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including Product Managers, Enterprise Architects, Technical Leads, and business users, to gather requirements and design scalable systems

  • Develop prototypes and execute Proof of Concepts including creating sophisticated design agents utilizing cutting-edge AI frameworks such as LLMs and RAG, MLOps, Python

  • Drive root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions for production issues to ensure system reliability and performance

  • Take ownership of software deliverables, ensuring high standards in quality, security, scalability, performance, and maintainability

Job Designation

What you bring

Basic

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a STEM field with 8+ years of software engineering experience architecting and delivering complex, large-scale commercial applications or platform services

  • Experience in full-stack development using Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks like React

  • Experience in OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud), VBCS, APEX, Groovy, PL/SQL, and Oracle Fusion Cloud APIs

  • Experience with Python and modern frameworks (Django, FastAPI) for backend services and automation

  • Experience with web service technologies (REST, SOAP, JSON/XML), modern API practices, and designing high-performance integrations

  • Experience in AI frameworks, ML Ops, RAG architectures, LLMs, Agentic AI, and enterprise AI deployment models for internal and external platforms

  • Experience with SQL and cloud-native technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines

  • Experience leveraging cloud service providers and their native services-including AWS, Azure, and Oracle OCI to architect, develop, and deploy scalable, high-performance applications

  • Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum) using Jira and Confluence

Preferred

  • General understanding of Quote-to-Cash business processes, including Accounts Receivable, Subscription Management, Pricing, and Product Information Management (PIM)

  • Experience with cloud services from major public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle OCI)

Wage Transparency

Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

California: $164,700.00 - $266,000.00 base salary

This role is also eligible for the following:

  • Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan, which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance.
  • Stock: This role is eligible to receive Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
