  • Develop and support Oracle database batch applications within data warehouse and data lake environments.
  • Ingest data from heterogeneous sources into on-premises or cloud data storage platforms, including environments such as Snowflake, AWS, and related cloud data services.
  • Build and manage ETL/ELT workflows using dbt, Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle SQL, and shell scripting.

  • Use Git workflows, branching strategies, and CI/CD pipelines to support automated deployment of data solutions.
  • Collaborate with business customers, vendors, and internal resources to clarify requirements, resolve issues, and support successful delivery.
  • Provide weekly status updates and maintain required project/time reporting.

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of demonstrated experience in BI development, data engineering, ETL/ELT, data warehouse, data lake, enterprise data management, or closely related services.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle database development for batch applications in data warehouse or data lake environments.

  • Experience using dbt, ODI, Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle SQL, and shell scripting to manage ETL/ELT processes.
  • Experience developing dimensional hierarchies and data models for enterprise reporting.
  • Experience creating, maintaining, processing, and analyzing large data volumes.
  • Experience with data quality validation, reconciliation, and testing.
  • Knowledge or hands-on experience with API development frameworks.
  • Knowledge or hands-on experience with cloud-native data integration technologies.
  • Experience supporting data lake migration from on-premises systems to cloud platforms.
  • 3+ years of experience building incremental models, handling raw data layers, and building dbt models for vendor/application data.
  • Proficiency in dbt development, including macros, hooks, incremental models, data quality tests, and model security.
  • Experience converting complex Oracle stored procedures into modular dbt models.
  • Expert-level knowledge of Git workflows, branching strategies, and CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams.
