Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Senior Oracle Cloud PPM Functional SME / Solution Lead to lead a large-scale Oracle EBS to Oracle Fusion Cloud transformation for a leading construction client. This is a functional leadership role responsible for driving the implementation of Oracle Project Portfolio Management (PPM) while integrating with Oracle Financials Cloud and Oracle Time & Labor (OTL).

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience leading Oracle Cloud implementations from project initiation through post-production support, working directly with business stakeholders, executive leadership, and implementation teams.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Functional Lead for the Oracle Fusion Cloud PPM implementation.
  • Lead business discovery workshops and facilitate requirement gathering sessions with project managers, finance teams, payroll, operations, and executive stakeholders.
  • Analyze current-state Oracle EBS Project Accounting and construction business processes and design future-state Oracle Cloud PPM solutions.
  • Lead solution design across Oracle Project Portfolio Management (PPM), Project Costing, Project Billing, Project Contracts, Project Control, Capital Projects, and Project Financial Management.
  • Collaborate with Finance and HR teams to ensure seamless integration between Oracle PPM, Oracle Financials Cloud, and Oracle Time & Labor.

Design and validate end-to-end business processes across:

  • Project Costing
  • Project Billing
  • Project Contracts
  • Project Control
  • General Ledger (GL)
  • Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Purchasing (PO)
  • Oracle Time & Labor (OTL)
  • Lead Fit-Gap Analysis and recommend Oracle Cloud best practices while minimizing customizations.
  • Prepare Functional Design Documents (FDD), configuration workbooks, business process documentation, and solution recommendations.
  • Configure Oracle Cloud PPM modules to meet client business requirements.
  • Work closely with technical teams on integrations, conversions, reports, OTBI, BI Publisher, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST APIs, and FBDI-based data loads.
  • Lead Conference Room Pilots (CRP), System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect triage, regression testing, and business sign-off activities.
  • Develop production cutover strategy, deployment plans, data validation, and go-live checklists.
  • Lead Hypercare and post-go-live stabilization activities while providing functional leadership to the production support team.
  • Collaborate with PMO, Solution Architects, technical consultants, and business users throughout the implementation lifecycle.
  • Mentor junior Oracle consultants and provide functional guidance across multiple workstreams.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of Oracle ERP implementation experience.
  • 5+ years of Oracle Fusion Cloud PPM implementation experience.
  • Multiple full lifecycle Oracle Fusion Cloud implementation projects as a Functional Lead or Solution Lead.
  • Strong experience leading Oracle EBS to Oracle Fusion Cloud migration projects.
