Job Location

The primary work location for this role is the East Coast with a remote work model.

About Envestnet

Envestnet is an adaptive WealthTech company that is redefining the future of wealth management by helping advisors meet the moment with its comprehensive technology, actionable insights, and industry leading support. Backed byover 25 years of experience and approximately $7.0 trillion in platform assets, Envestnet is trusted by over one third of financial advisors across leading banks, wealth managers, brokerages, and RIAs.

For a deeper look at how Envestnet is shaping the future of financial advice, visit www.envestnet.com.

The Team You’ll Join

The Financial Systems team at Envestnet plays a critical role in powering the technology behind the company’s finance operations, building and enhancing the systems that support reporting, reconciliation, and the close process. Partnering closely with Finance stakeholders, the team develops integrations, dashboards, and automation within Oracle Fusion to ensure accurate, scalable, and efficient financial data flow across the organization. By combining deep technical expertise with business insight, they drive continuous improvement in how financial processes are executed—making it an exciting space for those who enjoy solving complex problems at the intersection of finance and technology.

How You’ll Contribute

This is a hands-on Oracle Fusion developer role embedded in the Financial Systems team. You write code, build integrations, and configure Oracle R2R modules at a technical level — not as a systems administrator, but as a developer who understands how the platform works under the hood. You support the Director, R2R in delivering the GL, close, reconciliation, consolidation, and financial reporting capabilities that Finance stakeholders depend on.

You are expected to be independently productive: given a requirement, you can identify the right Oracle module and approach, write the SQL or script needed, build or modify the integration, and validate the output — without step-by-step guidance.

  • Oracle EPM / FCCS — Collaboration
    • Partner with the Oracle Fusion Developer — EPM (FCCS) on GL-to-FCCS data flows: validate GL extracts, support source-system mappings from the Fusion side, and reconcile consolidation outputs back to GL balances
    • Build SQL-based validation checks comparing FCCS data loads against GL_BALANCES source data
  • Oracle Fusion GL & Close
    • Query Oracle GL tables (GL_JE_HEADERS, GL_JE_LINES, GL_BALANCES, GL_CODE_COMBINATIONS, etc.) for data validation, reconciliation, and ad hoc analysis
    • Build journal import integrations using Oracle Fusion GL REST APIs and FBDI templates
    • Develop and maintain BIP reports and OTBI analyses for GL, close, and consolidation reporting
    • Support Close Manager configuration: task library updates, schedule adjustments, and status reporting queries
Write SQL-based data quality checks for period-end GL balances and intercompany out-of-balance detection
  • Oracle ARCS & Reconciliation
    • Support ARCS configuration: reconciliation profile templates, data source connections, and period-end workflows
    • Build data feeds into ARCS using REST APIs or FBDI for automated balance population
    • Write SQL queries to validate ARCS balances against Oracle GL source data
    • Subledger Accounting (SLA) & Intercompany
    • Support Subledger Accounting rule configuration — understand how journal line rules and account derivation rules generate GL entries
Query SLA tables (XLA_AE_HEADERS, XLA_AE_LINES, XLA_EVENTS) to trace subledger-to-GL accounting
    • Support Oracle Fusion Intercompany configuration and troubleshoot intercompany transaction processing errors

Technical Skills Required:

  • Shared Technical Foundation
    • Oracle SQL / PL/SQL: Query Oracle Fusion tables directly (GL, AP, AR, etc.); write SQL for data validation, reconciliation, and reporting; troubleshoot data issues at the table level
    • Oracle REST APIs: Consume and test Oracle Fusion REST services for journal import, supplier/customer management, invoice processing, and period-close operations; read API documentation and design integration payloads
    • Oracle SOAP Web Services: Work with older Oracle Fusion SOAP endpoints where REST is unavailable; construct and validate XML payloads
    • Groovy Scripting: Write and maintain Groovy scripts within Oracle EPM/FCCS for consolidation and calculation rules; extend to BPM workflow customizations and Oracle application scripting where applicable
    • Oracle BIP / OTBI: Build BI Publisher report templates (RTF, Excel); write OTBI analyses and dashboards; create data models over Oracle Fusion subject areas
    • Oracle FBDI: Build and validate File-Based Data Import templates for bulk data loads; troubleshoot import errors using log files and Oracle table queries
    • Oracle Integration Architecture: Understand Oracle Fusion module table structures and data flow well enough to design integrations, validate payloads, and diagnose errors without hand-holding
  • R2R-Specific Technical Skills
    • FCCS Literacy: Able to query EPM data and reconcile GL-to-FCCS flows; Groovy scripting a plus — the EPM (FCCS) Developer owns FCCS scripting and FDMEE workflows
    • GL Table Structures: Solid working knowledge of Oracle GL schema:
    • GL_LEDGERS, GL_CODE_COMBINATIONS, GL_BALANCES, GL_JE_*, XLA_* subledger tables
    • Financial Reporting: Oracle FRS report design or Smart View query development

What You’ll Need to Bring

  • 5+ years of hands-on Oracle Fusion technical development experience
  • Oracle SQL proficiency: comfortable querying multi-table GL and SLA schemas to diagnose data issues
  • Experience with Oracle REST APIs or SOAP web services in an Oracle Fusion context
  • Experience building BIP reports or OTBI analyses over Oracle Fusion financial data
  • Ability to read API documentation, construct payloads, and independently troubleshoot integration errors

Nice-to-Haves

  • Groovy scripting in an Oracle FCCS or EPM Cloud context; FDMEE or Oracle Data Management configuration experience
  • Oracle EPM Cloud Automate job design
  • Oracle ARCS configuration or data integration experience
  • SLA rule configuration experience
  • Experience with Workato or another iPaaS platform
