Identity Management Developer (SailPoint IdentityIQ) - Remote

Join the Identity Management Services team to help support and enhance identity governance solutions that protect the organization and enable secure user access. This role is ideal for an early-career developer or engineer looking to build hands-on experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) and enterprise identity systems.

    • Engineer I - $110,000 - $116,500 plus annual bonus opportunity
    • Engineer II - $125,000 - $135,000 plus annual bonus opportunity

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

IdentityIQ Development & Configuration 

  • Support internally developed access-management applications and automation scripts used by the Identity Management Services team
  • Assist in the design, development, and support of SailPoint IdentityIQ components including backend infrastructure, containerization, workflows (Joiner/Mover/Leaver), role onboarding, and rule development under guidance from Senior IIQ developers
  • Help maintain configurations and integrations between SailPoint and directory services using internal tools  
  • Contribute to the support of identity solutions using Java, scripting, and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server)  
  • Participate in modernization initiatives involving identity governance platforms, workforce lifecycle integrations, and cloud-based identity solutions

Collaboration and Support  

  • Partner with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements, document solution designs, and support implementation of identity management capabilities
  • Assist SailPoint Administrators and cross-functional teams in integrating remote systems for identity certification and lifecycle management
  •  Collaborate with business and IS teams to gather requirements, support solution design, and deliver secure, high-quality identity solutions
  • Develop strong communication and troubleshooting skills while working with team members to resolve issues

Documentation and Compliance 

  • Assist in creating and maintaining architectural diagrams, technical documentation, design specifications, and implementation documentation
  • Support efforts to ensure solutions align with regulatory and compliance requirements

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • 1-3 years of experience in development or IT support
  • Basic knowledge of IAM concepts 
  • Proficient with Java, scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Shell), and using SQL with relational databases 
  • Strong problem-solving skills 
  • Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), application support, and use of Continuous Integration (CI) tools.
  • Demonstrated curiosity, initiative, and the ability to independently learn new technologies, tools, and business processes
  • Familiarity with version-control concepts and tools such as GitHub

PREFERRED:

  • Exposure to SailPoint IdentityIQ 
  • Understanding of access governance 
  • Interest in IAM or cybersecurity 
  • Relevant certifications or coursework
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or Tanzu Kubernetes Grid (TKG)
