  • The solutions architect serves as principal architect of large and complex hardware, software, database, networking, and/or telecommunication solutions.
  • Determines Laboratory-wide requirements and incorporates these requirements into solutions that may be commercial-off-the-shelf (Oracle P6, PIF, WebLogic) or internally developed software and hardware.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field and 12 years of related experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience directly related to the occupation.
  • Post-graduate coursework and/or professional certification(s) and/or equivalent combination of education and experience may be expected.

REQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Expert knowledge and demonstrated application of current and future network, data management, security, hardware, software development, and systems programming technologies, how they interoperate, how to architect complex solutions, and enterprise web application delivery.
  • Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills, organizational and project management skills.
  • Demonstrated team-building experience with technologists.
  • Expert knowledge in SQL Server and Oracle RDBMS implementation, administration, maintenance, and end-user support.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle WebLogic for web applications.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle Primavera Portfolio Management.
  • Expert level knowledge of Oracle Project Integration Framework (PIF)
  • Experience maintaining environments for integration of project controls skills: estimating, schedules, and costs.
