Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain therapeutic rapport with clients and their families, conducting comprehensive assessments to evaluate risks such as suicidality or danger to self or others.
  • Conduct the admission process for new patients with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring they feel welcomed and supported from the first interaction.
  • Actively engage in weekly treatment team meetings, collaborating with colleagues to share insights, set treatment goals, and provide consistent clinical support.
  • Perform utilization reviews for insurance purposes by delivering detailed clinical documentation, ensuring authorization processes are navigated efficiently.
  • Maintain accessibility for clients and their families by responding to communications within two hours during business hours and within 24 hours after hours.
  • Ensure seamless communication with the Utilization Review Department and business teams regarding insurance authorizations and payments, guaranteeing continuity of care.
  • Initiate discharge planning upon admission to ensure clients are prepared for a smooth transition, completing discharge sessions to reinforce coping strategies and resources.
  • Effectively manage crises during sessions, providing support not just to patients but also to milieu staff in their interactions with clients.
  • Timely document all clinical interactions and treatment plans, adhering to best practices and ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of clients dealing with various mental health challenges.
