Seeking a New Business Development Manager.


Salary $110,000 - $130,000

The NBD (New Business Development) Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying and driving revenue growth across Tier 2 and Tier 3 telecommunications,. This role will focus on new business for Tier 2 and Tier 3 ISP providers. Also requires extensive experience in fiber optic and copper network solutions.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities within telecommunications, broadband, utility and infrastructure sectors, targeting Tier 2 and Tier 3 accounts.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies for new target accounts.
  • Drive revenue growth through the sales of fiber optic and copper connectivity solutions.
  • Manage complex sales cycles from prospecting through quoting, contract negotiation and closing.
  • Develop accurate sales forecasts and maintain pipeline visibility through CRM tool(s).
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations to ensure service delivery aligns with sales promises and customer expectations.
  • Collaborate with supply chain with key customer insight to support the negotiation of pricing, secure product availability and develop strategic partnerships.
  • Monitor market trends, competitors, and customer feedback to continuously refine go-to-market strategies.
  • Drive performance metrics, manage sales pipeline, and report on KPI’s and forecasts to executive leadership.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • 7+ years of experience in business development, direct sales, or sales leadership in the telecommunications industry with a focus on FTTH, datacenters and mobile infrastructure.
  • Deep understanding of fiber optic principles and network architecture.
  • Strong understanding of FTTH technology, deployment models, and competitive landscape.
  • Familiarity with market dynamics and emerging technologies in broadband.
  • Experience selling copper network solutions and telecommunications infrastructure products.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives .
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Strong understanding of outside plant (OSP), inside plant (ISP), FTTH (fiber-to -the home) and FTTx, broadband deployment, and network infrastructure.
