• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to accurately identify the mental health needs of clients, creating tailored treatment plans that address individual concerns.
• Provide evidence-based therapy services through individual, group, and family sessions, employing various therapeutic modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to meet the diverse needs of our clients.
• Collaborate with a network of case managers, psychiatrists, and healthcare professionals to deliver holistic care that supports clients’ overall well-being.
• Offer crisis intervention services for clients experiencing acute distress or emergency situations, demonstrating empathy and effective problem-solving skills in high-pressure scenarios.
• Engage in community outreach and educational programs to enhance mental health awareness, promoting the importance of seeking help and reducing stigma surrounding mental health issues.

Our clientele encompasses individuals from various socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds. As a therapist at Privia, you will work with clients who are navigating different mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and more. This diversity provides therapists with the unique opportunity to enhance their cultural competence and develop a greater understanding of the broad spectrum of mental health needs.

• An active and independent license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• Completion of a master’s degree or Doctorate in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build rapport and maintain therapeutic relationships with clients effectively.
• Demonstrated cultural competence, sensitivity, and the ability to connect with individuals from different backgrounds.
• Excellent organizational skills with a focus on timely and accurate documentation as part of treatment planning and follow-up.

• Experience working in a community mental health setting or service-oriented environment.
• Proficiency with telehealth platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems to support client reporting and documentation.
• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities and a strong clinical skill set in various therapeutic practices.
