Job Schedule: 9/80:Employees work 9 out of every 14 days - totaling 80 hours worked, and have every other Friday off

Job Description: 

  • Provides image scienceexpertiseto conduct image/product quality analysis associated with collection and processing for dissemination, archival, exploitation and display of digital imagery. 

  • Assess utility of image processing routines and advanced algorithmsoperatingon today's baseline and emerging remote sensing systems. 

  • Investigates,analyzesand provides solutions to complex problemsencounteredby engineering services and quality control using standard engineering practices. 

  • Authors technical documents and presentations. 

Qualifications: 

  • Must be pursuing aBachelor'sor Master's degreein Imaging Science, Physics, Mathematics,Engineeringor related fieldat an accredited university. 

Preferred Skills: 

  • An understanding of image processing techniques and software tools. 

  • Knowledge of ground processing architectures and image processing algorithms for passive remote sensing systems. 

  • Ability to develop engineering-level (not production-level) software routines in Python, C, C++, orMatlab 

  • Experience with ENVI/IDL programming, MATLAB, Python, UNIX based scripting, and/or C++ programming. 

  • Exposure to Advanced Geospatial Intelligence (AGI) and FSG (Full Spectrum GEOINT). 

  • Exposure to analysis, exploitation, advanced processing of Visible and IR electro-optical (EO) systems 

PAY TRANSPARENCY:In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $25.50 - $48.00 per hour. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, Cleveland Ohio, and Vermont is $22.50 - $41.00 per hour. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
