Description
GlobalLogic estimates the starting base salary for the Senior Azure Devops Engineer position in Fort Worth, TX to be between $130000 to $140000 and reflects base salary only and does not include additional performance-linked variable compensation, benefits etc that may be applicable for the role. This pay range is provided as a good faith estimate and the amount offered may be higher or lower. GlobalLogic takes many factors into consideration in making an offer, including candidate qualifications, work experience, operational needs, travel and onsite requirements, internal peer equity, prevailing wage, responsibilities, and other market and business considerations.
Requirements
Design and implement Azure Landing Zones (CAF/ALZ) with governance, networking, identity, and security baselines
Define cloud migration strategies for application rehosting/refactoring, database migrations, SAP workloads, and hybrid architectures
Build and optimize Infrastructure CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (YAML pipelines, service connections, environments, approvals) with Terraform as the primary IaC tool
Design Terraform module architectures including reusable modules, remote state management, workspace strategies, and drift detection for enterprise-scale environments
Establish governance frameworks using Azure Policy, RBAC, cost management, tagging strategies, and compliance guardrails, all deployed and enforced through CI/CD
Lead migration assessments and execution including discovery, wave planning, cutover coordination, and validation
Advise on multi-cloud strategies where AWS complements the Azure-primary footprint
Guide and mentor delivery teams through complex technical decisions
Job responsibilities
Cloud infrastructure with deep hands-on experience in Azure
Expert-level Terraform skills including modules, providers, state management, workspaces, CI/CD integration, and managing large multi-environment deployments
Deep Azure DevOps experience with YAML pipelines, multi-stage deployments, variable groups, service connections, release gates, and artifact management for infrastructure delivery
Proven track record delivering Landing Zones at enterprise scale (hub-spoke networking, management groups, policy-as-code via Terraform)
Strong experience with cloud migrations, at least 2-3 large-scale programs involving application, database, or SAP workloads
Solid understanding of Infrastructure CI/CD patterns like plan/apply workflows, automated testing, drift detection, and governed promotion across environments
Working knowledge of AWS (networking, IAM, core services) as a secondary cloud
Ability to consult at the executive level and translate technical complexity into business decisions
Experience leading or guiding delivery teams through migrations without being a people manager
Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-moving enterprise environments
