Description
SAIC is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Integration Lead to join our team supporting unique complex IT and SIGINT solutions. In this leadership role, you will serve as the primary requirements and the systems, applications, and architectures designed to meet them. You will lead a cross-functional integration and engineering team, drive integration and migration planning, and serve as the ultimate advocate for client mission success. This position may require on-site support at customer locations and will directly support ISR and C4ISR programs.
Work Environment
This is a senior, integration-based leadership role that requires onsite leadership at SAIC and customer sites on Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD. The Integration Lead will operate at the intersection of technical execution and strategic client engagement, working collaboratively and directly with the SAIC Chief engineer. This is an ideal opportunity for a seasoned professional who thrives in complex, mission-critical environments.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Integration & Architecture
  • Lead the integrating and implementation of designs and architectures across and into multiple systems and platforms.
  • Translate complex client and mission requirements into detailed system designs and Integration specifications, for scaled IT and SIGINT solutions.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of intelligence information requirements, and operational environments.
  • Develop and maintain planning baselines to support program execution and technical decision-making.
  • Lead the creation and management of integration schedules, migration plans, and roadmaps, ensuring alignment with program objectives and client needs.

Client Advocacy & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Serve as the authoritative voice for the client, ensuring all technical solutions directly address identified business problems and mission requirements.
  • Interact frequently with internal and external senior management and customer representatives regarding projects, operational decisions, scheduling requirements, and contractual matters.
  • Lead and deliver briefings and technical meetings for both internal stakeholders and external customer representatives.
  • Support business process improvement initiatives and systems analysis efforts across mission, systems, and fiscal domains.

Program & Mission Support
  • Support ISR and C4ISR program clients with integration strategy, technical planning, and execution oversight.
  • Assist in the analysis and documentation of intelligence information requirements.
  • Contribute to the development of budgets, schedules, and performance standards in support of program goals.
  • Provide project-based support, including potential on-site engagement at customer facilities.

Leadership & Management Responsibilities
  • Works closely and effectively with the Chief Engineer to understand design decisions and outcomes that meet customer expectations.
  • Directly manage and mentor subordinate engineers and experienced specialist staff who operate with significant latitude and independence.
  • Provide clear direction, delegate assignments effectively, and establish accountability across the team for daily work.
  • Establish operational objectives and work plans for one or more departments or functional areas.
  • Collaborate with senior management to review operational outcomes and ensure organizational objectives are being met.
  • Establish and enforce operating policies and procedures that govern departmental and cross-functional work units.
  • Interpret and apply company-wide policies and procedures to ensure consistent, compliant operations.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Deep expertise in systems integration, IT architecture, and/or SIGINT solution design.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting intelligence community (IC) or DoD programs, particularly ISR and/or C4ISR environments.
  • Strong understanding of systems engineering principles, integration methodologies, and migration planning.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience developing and managing program budgets, schedules, and performance metrics.
  • Ability to interpret and apply organizational and contractual policies in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable operating in project-based, customer-facing environments, including on-site engagements.

Qualifications
Required Experience & Clearance:
  • Bachelors and 14 years' experience. Additional years of experience accepted in lieu of a degree.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance is required.

Target salary range: $160,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
