Contract to Hire Opportunity

Lead Infrastructure Engineer - Temporal Platform

*** This position can currently sit remote but will require hybrid onsite commitment end of 2027/early 2028.

Open for anyone within 180 miles of Atlanta, Dallas, Phoenix, or Bloomington, IL ideally***

Description

Must have Temporal experience *** Temporal- hands on operational experience on a large scale***

Must have hands on experience with the product- not self hosting in your cloud- Temporal itself with integration with developer pipelines.

5+ years in Platform Engineering, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering, with a track record of operating production distributed systems. Deep, hands-on platform engineering experience across cloud, Kubernetes/OpenShift, or managed service environments.

Experience configuring enterprise SSO and integrating cloud services with identity providers, role mapping, service identities, and access controls.

Experience deploying and scaling containerized application runtimes on OpenShift or Kubernetes, including resource policies, autoscaling, networking, secrets, and GitOps promotion.

Strong understanding of distributed systems and durable data, including availability, consistency, backup and recovery, retention, and performance trade-offs.

Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code and GitOps (Terraform, Helm, ArgoCD or equivalent).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $70.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
