The Global Analytics Analyst / Advisor reports to the Global Corporate Analytics Leader and is the dedicated data, reporting, and analytics partner for Duracell's Finance and Global Business Services (GBS) organizations. 

This role owns the end-to-end BI and analytics solutions for these functions, translating business requirements into use cases and analytical products that align with the company's data strategy and support decision-making across financial planning, reporting, close, and shared-services operations.

The individual in this position is a key partner to Finance and GBS leaders, functional analysts, and the Enterprise BI, Data & AI teams. 

They combine hands-on technical delivery with advisory services, and actively leverage AI-assisted analytics to accelerate delivery and expand the value the function generates.

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
  • 2+ years of experience in business intelligence, reporting, and data design, development and support with a leading BI tool suite, ideally supporting Finance or shared-services functions.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, beyond just Power BI.
  • Excellent written and spoken English; Spanish is not required.
  • Technical expertise in SQL, database logic, and ETL / data integration technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of database and data warehousing concepts, with hands-on experience across SAP, Snowflake, and Azure Data Lake.
  • Experience with SAP data, including actuals, budget, and glidepaths.
  • Exposure to Finance or shared-services processes (P2P / O2C / R2R) is a plus, though not required for a fast learner willing to pick it up on the job.
  • Highly autonomous and resourceful, able to ramp up quickly with minimal onboarding support.
  • Open-minded, curious, and genuinely interested in AI and emerging technologies.
  • Ability to be both a data strategist and a hands-on implementer, telling a clear story with data.
  • Experience developing advanced analytics (predictive and prescriptive) models is a plus.
  • Consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry experience is a plus.

  • Serve as the primary data, reporting, and analytics partner for the Finance and GBS teams, developing and maintaining trusted relationships at both executive and operational levels.
  • Own the design, development, and support of the analytics solutions serving Finance and GBS, including dashboards, reports, semantic models, and self-service datasets.
  •  Translate Finance and GBS business requirements into use cases and deliver value-add solutions at the speed of business.
  • Ensure effective collection, organization, and distribution of data across key sources including SAP financial and master data, point of sale, market data, and third-party providers.
  • Establish and maintain AI-ready data standards for the functions, ensuring data assets are clean, well-governed, documented, and structured to serve as reliable inputs for AI and machine learning workloads.
  • Build and maintain data pipelines, semantic layers, and curated datasets that support both traditional reporting and AI consumption, partnering with the Enterprise Data and AI teams.
  • Actively leverage AI tools, including generative AI, natural language querying, and AI-assisted analytics, to accelerate development cycles, surface insights, and expand capacity to deliver at scale.
  • Manage the analytics backlog for Finance and GBS, defining mutually agreed metrics for success that are focused on the customer and the value generated.
  • Provide thought leadership on emerging data, analytics, and AI trends; educate and influence Finance, GBS, and IT stakeholders on how to best leverage data platforms and maximize business benefits.
  • Integrate quality practices across all aspects of delivery; audit work products to ensure accuracy, quality, and sustainability.
  •  Interface with the Enterprise Business Intelligence team to ensure standards are followed and new core capabilities are available when the business expects them.
