Job description

Hybrid (Morristown, NJ) OR Remote (US)
ABOUT PERFORMLINE
PerformLine is a leading provider of multi-channel marketing compliance technology for enterprises in highly regulated industries. The company's platform supports pre-publication review of marketing assets and post-publication monitoring across marketing channels including web, social, and email-helping organizations manage risk, ensure regulatory compliance, and protect their brands at scale. PerformLine is headquartered in Morristown, New Jersey, and serves clients across financial services and other regulated markets.
Come as you are. We are an equal opportunity workplace celebrating diversity and committed to creating an inclusive and equitable experience for all.
MISSION
Our mission is to empower compliance leaders with the technology and knowledge to ensure their organization and partners provide transparent and accurate information to consumers across any channel.
TL;DR
PerformLine is expanding coverage across our ICP target accounts and growing into adjacent verticals, including insurance and wealth management. We're looking for a Senior AE who brings a network of financial services relationships, is positioned near a high-density market, and can independently source and close complex enterprise deals. This is a strategic opportunity for someone who has earned their reps in a growth-stage or startup environment, owns the full cycle from sourcing through close, leverages modern AI tools to sell smarter, and thrives in a lean, fast-paced environment.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Prospect & Sell
  • Build pipeline from scratch across a named account list - you'll have inbound support, but pipeline ownership starts with you
  • Use AI tools (including Claude) to research accounts, sharpen outreach, and prioritize the highest-potential opportunities
  • Accelerate and grow relationships with prospects across all layers of target accounts
  • Run complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals spanning compliance, legal, risk, and C-suite
  • Own the full cycle from sourcing through red lines and close
  • Know when to stick to the playbook and when to get creative to push deals across the finish line

Grow
  • Lead vertical expansion efforts into insurance and wealth management, leveraging existing financial services relationships to open new markets
  • Partner with Marketing and Client Success on messaging and expansion opportunities
  • Strategize and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders on pipeline progress, revenue forecast, and feature requests - using AI to speed up account research, forecasting, and prep
  • Represent PerformLine at industry events and conferences to build brand presence and source pipeline

WHAT YOU BRING
  • 7+ years of B2B enterprise SaaS sales experience (GRC/compliance software is a plus), with consistent quota attainment
  • Demonstrated success selling into enterprise financial services (banking, insurance, wealth management, or fintech)
  • A real network of financial services relationships you can activate
  • Experience sourcing and managing enterprise deal cycles averaging 6+ months
  • Comfort in ambiguity: you've operated without a fully built territory, playbook, or support infrastructure and figured it out
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills - you can command a room with a CISO and a CFO in the same conversation
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and modern sales tech stack
  • Experience with AI platforms (Claude, etc.)

WHO YOU ARE
  • A builder, not a maintainer - you get energy from creating
  • Intellectually curious about your buyer's world and genuinely interested in solving their compliance problems
  • Humble enough to take feedback and act on it; confident enough to push back with data
  • Default to thoughtful, humble, empathetic, respectful, and calm communication
  • Never operates with an adversarial attitude
  • Genuine love of interacting with all types of people, all day long

WHAT WE OFFER
  • Estimated base salary range $110,000 - 180,000 plus commission.
    • Exact compensation for this role depends on a variety of factors, including experience, skills, internal equity, market data, and location.
