Job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and technically skilled Senior Product Marketing Manager, API Evangelism & Developer Relations to drive awareness, adoption, and engagement of our APIs among developers, partners, and the broader tech community. As an API Evangelist, you will serve as a bridge between our engineering, product, and marketing teams, ensuring that developers have the resources, support, and inspiration to build with our APIs.
 
Key Responsibilities:
• Community Engagement & Advocacy: Actively engage with developer communities on platforms like GitHub, Stack Overflow, Twitter (X), Discord, and Reddit to promote our APIs and gather feedback.
• Content Creation: Develop technical blog posts, tutorials, documentation, and videos to educate developers on best practices and use cases.
• Public Speaking & Events: Represent the company at conferences, webinars, meetups, and hackathons, delivering talks and workshops to showcase our API capabilities.
• Developer Support & Feedback Loop: Collaborate with engineering and product teams to relay developer feedback, enhance API usability, and contribute to documentation improvements.
• Partnership Development: Work with third-party developers, startups, and enterprises to integrate our API into their products and solutions.
• Thought Leadership: Advocate for industry best practices, emerging API technologies, and trends to position the company as a leader in the API ecosystem.
• Growth & Adoption Strategies: Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to create API adoption strategies, including referral programs, community incentives, and open-source contributions.
 
Requirements & Qualifications:
• Proven experience in developer relations, API evangelism, or technical marketing.
• Strong technical background with experience in API development, RESTful services, GraphQL, Webhooks, or related technologies.
• Hands-on experience with API documentation tools like Postman, Swagger (OpenAPI), or GraphQL Playground.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for breaking down complex technical concepts into easily understandable content.
• Active presence in developer communities and experience in public speaking or conference presentations.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Go, or Java.
• Experience contributing to open-source projects or managing developer advocacy programs is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
• Experience working in SaaS, cloud computing, or API-driven businesses.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and API security best practices. • Experience organizing hackathons, developer workshops, or technical webinars.
• Strong in Go-To-Market strategies and API Monetization
